In search of the elusive alpha

The recent spate of economic and political uncertainties has put markets under severe pressure. With markets in a constant state of upheaval caused by external factors, the job of the fund manager has become more difficult than ever. The fund manager must navigate an uncertain and complex financial climate with increasing risk factors in various asset classes and sustainable investment practices, implement sound risk mitigation practices, not to mention generate sustainable returns for stakeholders.

It must adapt to asset classes such as equities, securitizations, currencies and bonds, and adopt strategies combining a range of derivatives, options and other instruments. Here, the selection of the right tool, which should not only provide high quality data but also offer flexibility in combining and compiling different data attributes, is particularly important to enable effective decision making.

Risk reduction or minimization is an essential part of asset management, deeply rooted in its philosophy.

Join us in understanding the myriad factors, strategies, asset classes and technology tools used by fund managers in search of the elusive ALPHA! Experienced professionals from the value chain participate in insightful presentations to provide a practical discourse on this topic. With a high-profile guest list bringing together leading decision-makers in the industry, the event offers a perfect blend of knowledge sharing and sattractive networking opportunities.
